Plug-in Manager - where is it?
Hi,
Apologies for asking what may be an obvious question, but can anyone tell me where I can find the 'Plug-in Manager', descibed (and shown) in the on-line help?
I can't see it under the plug-in menu (which shows the 'installed by default' plug-ins, and it's not in the other place I'd expect to find it - Preferences.
I have another proble too, which is probably more to do with Windows 8 than MuseScore, but someone might know the answer:
I've downloaded the Jojo-Schmitz-batch-export plugin, planning to use it to convert a folder of tunes in xml to mscz. I unzip it, giving me a translation folder, batch_convert.qml, batch_export.js, batch_export.ui and Readme.md. I copy these into the MuseScore 2 / plugins folder in Programs(x64) - which involves providing Administrator password - but when it's done and I look in the plugins folder they're not there. Where have I screwed up?

Hi,
A brief update - and a bit of a red face - I didn't realise that I had both MuseSCore 1.3 AND MuseScore 2 on my PC, and had been opening 1.3 rather than 2. So the 'where is Plugin Manager' question is now sorted.
But I still have a problem trying to move the post-zipping batch-convert files and folders from my download folder into MuseScore plugin folder in the Windows/Program Files(x86) folder...... the system asks for my Admin passowrd, seems to be doing a move/copy, but when I look in the plugin folder none of the files and folders are there.
Anyone any ideas please?
Cheers

Hi,
progress of sorts - my techie guru friend suggested that I downloaded and installed the batch convert plugin entirely from Administrator mode. I've done that, and it works. So the plugin is visible in the Plugin Manager.
Next question - how do I run the plugin? If I click the plugin tab in MuseScore 2 I see two lines - 'Plugin Manager' and 'Creat Plugin'. How do I actually run the batch plugin - or any of the other plugins I can see when I click on 'Plug Manager'?
Cheers

jabu4711, may I ask how you fixed this - as I've got the same problem in Musescore2. I can't see how to actually launch the abc import plugin, or any others, even though the file is in place and I've enabled it.

Sorted.... and apologies for wating your time.
The plug-in installed fine, I've been able to activate it in Plugin Manager, and it does allow me to convert a batch of files from xml to mscz format. Brilliant!
Best wishes to all
