Is there a way to indicate a multiple measure duration on a lead sheet?

Hi, I was away from music for quite a few years and am getting back into playing again. Musescore is just tremendous. I'm having a ball charting out songs that I want to practice.

I know my topic Subject is probably a little confusing. I want to keep my practice charts to a single page as much as possible. So, say for example I want to indicate a section of 16 measures (say there is a drum solo there), but I do not want to consume 16 measures of space on the page. I want to just draw one (1) elongated measure, draw a thick horizontal line with a thin vertical at each end, and put the number 16 above the bar. You know what I mean? I want to indicate the space, but no content is needed. Is there a way I can do that in Musescore?

Thanks in advance!

A multi-measure rest. That is exactly what I as looking for. I figured it had to be there, but I could not think of the proper term for it! So simple. Drrrrr....

I love the lead sheet tutorial. I'm going to have to go back and edit the few charts I've done so far as there are features I did not realize were there that will make my charts look much better.

What a time-saver this application is, and so well done! I will be donating.

Thank you!
