issue with repeats, coda, and sengo
Hi
I've been working with a piece and hit a bit of a wall. I was working with a repeat which has two endings. on the second ending I have a DS al coda which takes it back to the sengo, then is supposed to go to the 'to coda' to get it to the coda, and to the end. Ordinarily this would work fine, but the sengo is on the same bar as the beginning repeat, and playback doesnt go as expected.
I have attached two versions of the issue, one which shows the issue (test) and one which shows how I would like it to work (test2)...
btw the music is not actual music as such - just to illustrate the point :)
any thoughts?

#7470: Playback of repeats and jumps
Hi
further to this thread, it looks like the processor takes the sengo, then it seems to get cancelled out by the beginning of the repeat. I tried moving the sengo to the first bar (the beginning of the repeat is on bar 2), and the behaviour is the same as the initial file - ie (in my eyes) wrong. Even if you set up the repeat, then add in the sengo it looks like it puts the sengo to the beginning beginning of the bar, in front of the repeat.
Can this be updated so the order of precedence of 'bar-wide' elements can be decided by the order of placement of the elements?
Alternatively, could an add-on or plug-in be created to show the bars elements in a list, in which the order of precedence could be altered?
thanks in advance

MuseScore uses the issue tracker to keep track of things that MuseScore is making mistakes on. So yes, the current behavior is wrong, I supplied the link so you would be able to subscribe and know when this particular issue gets fixed.
