Maximum voices
Guitar scores often have more than 4 voices (having 6 strings obviously). How to deal with this in MuseScore ?

Voices is not the same thing as simultaneus notes, and you can have as mayn of those as you like

Right - meaning a six-note guitar chord needs only a single voice. Even an arpeggio requires only a single voice to notate. Only if the strings are being played with independent rhythms do you need multiple voices. Of course, that *is* common in guitar music, but given you only have five fingers per hand, and the thumb isn't used to the extent of the others from my understanding, there should be very little that can't be notated with four voices on a single staff (and there is always the possibility of using a second staff).

Thanks for the replies, I was not aware of the difference between number of voices and number of notes.
I am sure MuseScore will be a great help for me!
