Transport controls not working
I originally had 0.9.6.3 installed on my Laptop running XP (Service Pack 3). I only used this briefly, however, the play mode worked so I know Musescore has worked on my computer. A couple of days ago I installed Version 1.0 and now the 'Transport' controls (Enable sound whilst editing, Midi, Rewind, Start/Stop Playback, Play Repeats) are in light grey and do not work. How do I make these work?

Yes, I have the example 'Promenade' open. I can edit it but not play it, nor can I use any of the Transport Controls.

If you want to know the cause of the issue, try to post a screenshot of Display -> Synthesizer and Edit -> Preferences -> I/O.
If you just want it to work, try to revert to factory settings .

Thanks very much, this 'revert to factory settings' did indeed restore operation of the Transport Controls.
It is a little weird though because I had uninstalled 1.0 twice, I think I had even deleted the Musescore folder within Program Files, and had also downloaded new 1.0 and reinstalled so quite where it stores the config information, that causes the Transport Controls to be greyed out, goodness only knows.

The settings file (INI) is stored under the user documents area and not with the program. Removing the Program Files folder, and even uninstalling the app, doesn't remove the INI.
