MusicXml - full melisma <extend> implementation for exports

I am coming across more and more situations where a melisma stops one or more notes before the next lyric takes off.

We discussed this subject a bit in a previous topic : Regression - MusicXML, extend no longer exported on lyrics

The result was the v1.3 functionality where only a bare node was exported.
This gives no way of accurately determining the end point.
MusicXml gives this ability, however : <extend type="[ start / stop ]"/>

It is obvious that MuseScore v2.0.2 has this information as I can create a melisma, extend it over a number of notes, come out of lyric mode, select another note further on and go back into lyric mode.

As this information is clearly available, please can we have this exported.
It might seem to be a little thing, but it can make all the difference (at least from my perspective)
