newbie needs help

Hi, I'm new to this. I wrote a score with one part. Works Great! Then when i tried to add another part, it will not play. No sound? Even when i add notes, i can only hear them on the first staff and not the second. This is probably a really obvious one. Hope someone can help

I, too, had this problem when I first started.

The problem: when you have more than one instrument in a staff, only the top line plays.

This problem was fixed in the newer prereleases, so please tell us which release you are using and on what operating system you are using it.
