For now, and probably the foreseeable future, you can't.

bummer....I like having tabs side by side when I'm making changes to an original score. side by side tabs make it easy to see what's changed or what the original is....

Put the two windows side by side, or top and bottom. I prefer the latter to compare whole systems.
By using MuseScore 3
