Just Intonation and Microtonality
Hey, I've been using MuseScore for quite some time and really enjoyed it. But can you guys add another way to compose notes called Just Intonation and Microtonal? You know, and them on MuseScore?
Just Intonation is any musical tuning in which the frequencies of notes are related by ratios of small whole numbers.

Microtonal music is music using microtones—intervals of less than an equally spaced semitone.

Thanks!

MuseScore already support microtonal a bit. You can change the tuning of a note cent by cent. There are several plugins to change the temperament or deal with microtonal accidentals. See http://musescore.org/en/plugins

Well I went to that Micro-tuning interval thing and downloaded Microtune. The problem is that when I extracted the files and opened plugins/microtune/microtune.readme, it didn't work; it said that Windows cannot open it (BTW. I have Windows XP). And on top of that, I made MuseScore itself opened it, and now I can't read the description for it.
Any alternatives of changing the tunings of notes/scales?

If you are wanting just intonation, the plugin you need to use is called "Scales"

Despite the unexpected title, it does the trick perfectly (I just test it using MuseScore 1.1).
To learn how to install a MuseScore plugin, see the instructions in the handbook:

Better name and/or description are welcome :)

If I were picking, I would rename the "Micro-tuning interval" plugin as "Micro-tonal accidentals" (and include "quarter tones" and "Turkish Maqam" somewhere in the description), and I would rename the "Scales" plugin as "Unequal temperaments" or "Alternate tunings" (and include "Just intonation" somewhere in the description).

Well, I done that right. So how do I know really apply these tunnings I've made to the motes on composition?

Could you rephrase your question? I'm not sure I understand.

Well, I just added the Just Intonation to my plugins. I tried to apply my temperament tunings to putting the notes onto the score, but it didn't sound like the temperament I applied to. Can't really explain it much further.

You used the latest "Scales" plugin? Which temperament did you apply? What version of MuseScore are you using? Can you attach a score to this thread (that you have tried to add a temperament tuning to)? Please describe the step-by-step actions for others to reproduce the problem.
