Need help with note entry
I've attached a picture of what I'm trying to copy. The symbols palette doesn't have beams and such. What's the procedure? I'm not interested in the bass clef, just what's on the treble clef.

Could you be more specific about which notes you are having trouble with? Have you read the section on note entry in the handbook? Watched any of the tutorial videos? Beams hapen automatically when you enter eighth notes as described in the documentation. If it's the grace notes you are having trouble with, see that section of the handbook.

I just figured it out, Marc. I'm sorry. I do have another question, though. How could I input, for example, a quarter rest with a whole note underneath it followed by a quarter note, another quarter rest and another quarter note? I know I can input the quarter rests/notes and then add the whole note from the symbols palette, but how would I be able to have ledger lines for the whole note?

Leger lines will be added automatically when any note needs them.
