Voice-only Clefs for Sustained Notes

In some cases, such as having a multi-measured sustained note throughout multiple measures, you might want to, say, change clefs for a different voice in that measure. Right now that causes some very bad behavior with note placement. So, simple proposal- the ability to place a clef exclusive to one voice. It wouldn't be used too often, but I've seen it on enough occasions to warrant asking. That, and notating this piece otherwise would be rather impossible.
