Are we any closer to straight mutes for trumpet?
Nearly a year ago, someone who works on MuseScore told me that straight mutes for trumpets was very close, but I still don't see it. Wondering when this feature is actually planned?
For those who wonder what I'm talking about, when you mute a trumpet in MS, it is a Harmon mute, not a straight mute. Mutes are not at all about volume, but about tone color, and the tone color difference between these two is profound.
For me, this continues to be the biggest hole in the otherwise excellent playback features of Musesounds.

Have you tried reporting to the MuseSound team? Here is the link, https://support.musehub.com/hc/en-gb/requests/new.

I did log a feature request last March on Github, but there has been no response to it. Perhaps I'll try on the Musehub site.

I just saw it. Now every request regarding MuseSounds has to be reported on the link above, though.

I just entered it there too. One of the guys who works on the product (Tantacrul) had told me last April that there were a bunch of new Muse Sounds improvements and extensions coming out in the next 2 months, (so last Summer) which includes a lot of variety for brass. Now, he didn't say straight mutes, but one can hope!

With the last upgrade, they actually improved the muted brass. For the straight mutes, I think someday we'll see them.
