Windows nightly builds - PDF
I tried to open a PDF in Musescore 3.0 (nightly) but without success. I tried it on 2 different PCs. I use Windows 7 and Windows 10 on the 2 machines alternatively. Perhaps it only works on Mac?

What goes wrong when you try? Do you get a progress bar saying "Identifying systems at page 1..."? Does MuseScore crash? Can you attach the PDF in question here?

When I go to File, Open, PDF is not one of the supported files. Attaching a screenshot. I have unsubscribed to this thread, and have been advised to add my comments on the Technology Preview Thread. I am definitely using the MuseScore nightly (3.0.0 unstable) version.

That is odd. I'm actually on a Mac, so it could be that somehow this hasn't been enabled for Windows, but I don't see why that should be. I do see something in the code that might, if traced backward, provide a clue, but I don't have the skill to follow it: https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/blob/master/mscore/file.cpp#L2060 Liang Chen, if you're reading this, can you help?
Grasping at straws, I wonder when your nightly build is from. In the "About MuseScore" window (I think it's under the Help menu on Windows), could you click the button in the middle and then paste here?
EDIT: I now see the other thread, https://musescore.org/en/node/118796, and it looks like a solution has been found.
