Controlling voice volume throughout score
Hi. I work mainly on male choral TTBB and do understand the mixer can control volume for individual parts. My problem is when solos with choral backing can change several times during a score and I need to know how I can can control these volume changes and mark where the start and end . Dynamic markings don't always work. I am a learner so make it as simple as you can. I have the mastering musescore tutor book but can't find anything to explain this.

They often do but when applied later in the score they are not consistent and tend to sometimes over blow or some times not work at all

In order for us to tell you what is happening in the specific places where you are seeing a problem, we would need you to attach the score you are having problems with (see File Attachment link right below where you type your post) and decribe exactly where you are having trouble.,
