joined staves
How do I separate joined staves? i.e. 2 or more piano parts - treble & bass clefs - on the same page. They are single barred together. Also, i'm confused of how to insert a single measure at the end of a stave - without adding to the other parts?

Are you sore you want a six-measure score for three pianos? Or would you rather have an 18(+)-measure score for one piano?
The piece i'm working from is one piano -both clefs - the first two are 5 measures long - then the last is 6 measures long.

Okay. Press [i] to open the Instruments dialog, and remove two of the pianos. Click OK. You'll have one piano for six measures.
Then, go the Add menu, choose Measures > Append Measures..., and add 10 measures.
That's all you need to do. As you fill in the music, the measures will automatically extend onto the next line, and the next.

@DieHard, as I had understood (an attachment with a few tricks) ;-)

NO! Bad mistake in translation, here, Shoichi. That is absolutely not what the OP wants. This is:
18 measures for one paint

Totally incomprehensible. Sorry....

Took another look. Is this what you want?

KS: Pete Gerhardt, who did a lot of work for Jamey. Pete was a great. All the Jamey play-along books were in his hand, too. These days a computer score can be hard to read, but a great copyist can create something that really lays right on the page. kevin sloane, transcriber of the e flat omnibook
