Documentation lacks how to delete things other than notes.
I'm new to this and am mighty impressed with the capabilities of musescore but am struggling to delete things like triplets, staccato and accents without deleting notes unless it was the last thing you did.

For most elements, you should be able to select them and then press the Del key.

Thank you - thought I'd tried that but maybe I just tried the backspace. Whew!
Personally, I'd appreciate a handbook chapter which explains all the deletion possiblities for the different menu points OR, every menu point chapter -lines, bars, etc, also clearly tells you how to delete the error you've just made or the trick the software has just played e.g. repeat bars, lines etc. automatically changing place(!)

Not sure what you mean. Feel free to ask for help in the Support forum. But I can write the chapter you requested right now. Here it is:
"To delete something, select it and press Delete."
That's all there is to it :-)
