Right click a note, Note Properties - that lets you change noteheads as well as make other changes. As for bend notations, some possible useful symbols can be found in the Articulations palette, others on the Symbols palette, and you can also just draw Lines. I gather 2.0 will have some new elements here too.
No chen,that's not what is meant.so far I'm trying to manipulate the slur line to look like a bend .The included screenshot is what I mean.The third example looks the closest.I had to manipulate the slur line using the Ctrl+arrow keys to do it.Takes to long.Thanks marc will try using that for now.

Hehe, see both lasconic's and my comments in this.
Getting proper bend notation is currently a work in progress in 2.0.
We currently have a full bend sign applicable only to the TAB stave.
Hopefully by the time it is released we will be able to apply it to normal notation also.
