Reducing the distances between staves

I have been creating some vocal music and have two staves per line, each with two voices on. I have been able add lyrics to it, and thanks to everyone who has helped so far.

The only thing that remains outstanding is that the distance between one stave and the next is quite wide (I don't mean between the two voice lines).

I have gone onto the page settings and adjusted the scaling space, but this appears not to work.

Any tips out there.

Click on "File attachments" down at the bottom of the screen, Browse to your score, Attach and Save. Make sure you select the actual score and not a backup file (some people have hidden files turned on in their system and accidentally post backup files).

I have never attached anything before.

However, I have now figured it out. I needed to change the 'page fill threshold' to 100%. Looks perfect now.....

Hi there. I'm aware that this is not quite the solution to the problem, and it's been said here that there is no facility to resolve Your question here, but I found another way "around it" if You like:
Instead of Lyrics, You could use Stave text instead. This only works if You add the lyrics the Last thing when You have done Your spacing for the entire piece, if You do it half-way, the text will be out of place.....:

Use Stave text, and go to text properties for stave text, and re-set the Offset (Y) from -7 to something like +4.
this works quite well, and does not change the stave distance at all.
