Scoring chants with Muescore
When scoring vocal chants, one needs to associate multiple words in the lyrics with a single note. Can I do this from within Musescore?
Thank you,
Ron Umble

Do you mean “verses”? Example?
Of course, Musescore supports verses. But if you mean something else, we would need a better explanation.
You can link the two syllables involved with Control+Alt+Shift+"-" or simply with Control (or Alt)+"-" and even with a slash depending on your preferences.
If you mean several sets of lyrics, then Control+l again and you´ll have a new line of lyrics.

FYI, I attached a .pdf with the melodic line and first verse of lyrics. I would like to merge the melodic line and lyrics to simplify reading for the singers. If I understand correctly, I would enter the first line of lyrics like this: My[ctrl]+"-"soul[ctrl]+"-"give[ctrl]+"-"thanks[ctrl]+"-"to the[ctrl]+"-"Lord... Correct?
This seems to indicate that words to be sung on the same pitch are separated with dashes. If I want space separators instead, do I use [ctrl]+" "?
Thanks

Sorry,I don´t understand you. Wich words are supposed to be sung "on the same pitch" in your pdf?

One sings the words "My soul, give thanks to" on the whole note C.
Thanks,
