Singular instrument not obeying dynamic markings
Hi, I was trying to make practice tracks like I normally do by setting each part to pp and one to mf and then saving that as a mp3, when I realized my bass line is not obeying any dynamic markings I give it. It sounds the same whether I give it a pp dynamic, an fff dynamic, or no marking at all. It also does the same on the original copy of the score with all the regular dynamics, which I have also attached. I think it might have arisen from something I did while making the score originally to hear the bass line better, but that was months ago and I have no idea what that would have been. I checked my velocity and mixer and nothing seems out of the ordinary. Any ideas?

One of many methods of troubleshooting is to add a staff and copy a problem instrument into it. I ran into a problem right away because when I tried to enter a new staff, it was only added for the first two systems. Rather than the entire score. My plan was to add a cello, copy the piano part into it and change the labels and sound. I didn't get that far because the new staff didn't appear for the entire piece. I've never seen that before. I will say that when I at first changed the sound to Muse piano, the dynamics were obeyed.
Hopefully someone will come along with better help. Good luck.

I believe that it only added the first two systems because I have the setting "hide all empty staves except the first page" on. I did try adding an extra piano, copying the notes and trying again, but this did not change the issue. I would also like all the parts to sound like pianos in the end. What do you mean by changing the sound to Muse piano?
