Hi Miguel,
Thanks for pointing to this pt-br handbook. Since MuseScore has a nice handbook system on musescore.org itself, we are looking for pt-br translators to translate the official english handbook. The translation can be done in the website and the resulting pdf file will be included in the MuseScore software. Would you be interested in helping us out? Or perhaps you know someone who is willing to translate?

Keeping the translation online will be beneficial to the pt & pt-br MuseScore users for several reasons:
- users can search online through the handbook
- the handbook can easily be updated by tracking the changes in the English one
- the handbook will be included as pdf in the MuseScore software

Hi vitor,

You have now all the permissions to translate the website content: menu pages & handbook pages.
You start your way on the English website and you'll find for each page a translate tab on which you'll find a link to add or edit the brazilian portuguese translation.

Regarding the handbook there are two things to do:
- translate the manual and keep in mind that the translated content between the double square brackets should be the titles you for the actual handbook pages.
- translate the English handbook by stepping through the outline and adding or editing the portuguese translation.

If you have more question, don't hesitate to ask.

Two more pages translated: Development and Donate. Please change their titles.
I made a mistake. Instead of translate the Donate page into a new page in portuguese, I edited the english version and translated it to portuguese. But I've already corrected this. Sorry!
I think there is no more pages in the website to be translated to portuguese. Now I will update some pages and then begin with the handbook.

Hi Vitor,

While making your review, you can also make use of the translator assignments link in the administer menu. Choose Português brasileiro and you should be able to see the status of all the pages. You'll notice that a few handbook pages have been updated in the meantime (by David and others).

Great work!

Hi Vitor,

There is no workflow in place to translate forum topics. However, in order to translate, dig up the source code (CTRL-U) in the browser and paste it in a new forum topic. Once made, let me know by leaving a forum post and I shall feature it on the front page.

Hi
I noticed that some links in pt-br interface point to pages in english or other interfaces.
For example, in page "http://musescore.org/pt-br/manual-pt-br/modo-de-reprodução" SoudFont links to "http://musescore.org/handbook/soundfont" instead of "http://musescore.org/pt-br/manual-pt-br/soundfont."
In "http://musescore.org/node/5046", legato links to Hungarian page "http://musescore.org/hu/k%C3%A9zik%C3%B6nyv/legato."
