How to remove clutter in cross staff notation (i.e. preventing notes from getting overlaid)

Hello,

I noticed that when using cross staff notation, the notes that were moved up to the treble staff get overlaid on the original notes of the treble staff (as shown in the picture). MuseScore generally does a fantastic job at rearranging items as they are being typed, but I noticed that in this particular case, it doesn't do anything. So, is there anyway to reduce clutter on the treble staff? (Perhaps moving the tied notes further left? But I don't know if it can be done.)
