Tempo Change
I would like to see the tempo where the toolbar is.
It would be much easier to change it there and if it has the possibility of writing the value in a box instead of using a slider, it would be even better.

The manual could stand to be clearer on this. Tempo text is the normal and correct way to set tempo for a piece. Think of the play panel more as a temporary override of the tempo(s) set via tempo text, like to slow down a piece for practice purposes.

I find it odd that when I am setting up a new score, the tempo isn't part of the wizard. You know before you ever write down a single note whether the piece is fast or slow, so I think this is the appropriate place to set this and would make people realize the function better.

Agreed, and hat's already in the new score wizard for 2.0.
