Phantom measure display
I entered some measure repeats (of the % variety [sorry, I don't have the proper graphic handy]) into a composition. When those measures didn't sound on playback, I tried to delete the measure repeat characters and copy the actual notes into the repeated parts. What I got looked like the attachment. I can't find any way to remove these phantom measures and realign the music (Layout>Reset Positions didn't do what I expected it to); nor have I found any previous posts exhibiting this problem. I'm using v0.9.5 Build 2012 on an XP machine. The attachment (which looks a lot like the original) is a test using Save a Copy. I would like to know how to get rid of the phantom measures. I would also like to know if there's a way to get the playback to treat measure repeats as note-filled measures, because, despite the fact that the Play Repeats button is selected, these repeats are ignored. Thank you very much.

You can recover the file by using Ctrl+click delete to remove the two problem measures (see the "Delete" section of Measure operations for more detailed instructions). I attached a copy of the file with the two measure removed.
In the nightly builds the copy paste action no longer causes this problem (although there is an open bug related to repeat measures. see http://www.musescore.org/en/node/3353 ).

I tried recreating your result on my test file. Got rid of the phantom measures, left me with hanging measure repeat symbols at the end of the measure (13 beats worth of notes and a measure repeat symbol in each line of the trombone section). Not sure what I'm not picking up in your suggestion, although that did take care of the larger problem.

I mentioned the a copy-paste bug that creates notes after the last measure. Here are the details: http://www.musescore.org/en/node/3189
As mentioned above it is fixed in the nightly builds (and yesterday's prerelease).
