after input of a Tie, cursor jumps to beginning of the mesure
Hi
When I'm in Note input mode (N) and I want to put in a Tie, the cursur jumps back to the beginning of the measure.
Another issue with ties I encountered also in 1.3 is when I want to wish to delete the tied note or change its value, the only thing I can do to make it right, is to insert an empty measure and starting it over again.
Thanks for fixing this
btw I'm so pleased with 2.0 that I use it all the time!

I'm not so sure, but generally you can't put ties (or slur) as you are in input note mode (N) , have you quit it before to try ?

Generally you can. For ties, via the '+' key, for slures using 's'. And I don't see any jumping back
e.g.:
N 4 a + 5 f s g Esc

For me, though, in the development builds, the input cursor does indeed jump back to the beginning of the measure as soon as you press "+". I reported this some time ago as #23953: Cursor jumps to beginning of measure after entry of tie.
The other point about needing to insert a new measure and start over just to edit a tied nite I don't understand. Tied notes can be modified just like any others, both in 1.3 and in development builds. So for the OP, please describe in more detail what you are trying to do, and I'm we can help you discover what you are missing.
