Accidental Tuner Problem
Hello, I just downloaded Musescore and I'm still trying to figure things out. I'm trying to install microtonal plugins especially the 24 TET one for Musecore 3.x, however, none of the listed plugins seem to be working. I am currently using Accidental Tuner at the moment and the user guide states that there is an "edit settings" button that can be used to retune the set of 12 TET notes. Though, I couldn't find it anywhere in the software. I don't know if there's a problem with the version I'm using which is currently 3.5 Alpha, but if anyone has a solution please let me know. Does the plugin window show up when you run it?
As you're speaking about 24-TET, I'm guessing you mean this plugin: https://musescore.org/en/project/quarter-tone-24-tet-tuning ?
But that doesn't have a mention of an "edit settings" button at all on its page?

I have that one you mentioned installed already, and that was my first plugin. However, there isn't a retuning once I add an accidental and I think that the versions are conflicted. Then I installed Accidental Tuner which supposedly is the plugin for Musescore 3 but again, there isn't a retuning. That's what I mean by "doesn't work". I hope I explained enough.

Are you under the impression that the plugin would "live-update" continuously throughout the editing process? Its not how (most) plugins work. You have to re-run them every time you make a relevant change to the score.
There are some recent framework changes so plugins are become more able to track current score changes and might respond to them in the future, but currently nearly all plugins are "single-shot".

I meant that the pitch of the note doesn't change like how it is supposed to once a microtonal accidental is added. And I'm new to Musescore so I'm still figuring things out.

I'm still confused about how these plugins work.

The plugin that I'm currently using right now is supposed to have a screen that manually shows all the notes (at least that's what the PDF said). However, I could not find it.

As I wrote, that's not how the plugin works.
The pitch of the note changes only when you run the plugin.
So every time you change notation (add / remove accidentals) you have to again run the plugin.
EDIT: And the plugin I linked above is the QuarterTone plugin for MuseScore 3. It it wouldn't be, it wouldn't even be able to show its dialog..
