Moving notes to a better position

I always make an attempt to check the handbook but I'm yet to solve any difficulty that way. I can't even find anything relevant to my question. Hence, please excuse another request for help from a human.

I want to do something very simple but can't find the answer. I just want to move my semiquavers further right so that it stands out from the semibreves. I've attached a copy here.

I'm not techno-savvy as I'm sure has already been deduced, so I'd be grateful for really simple step by step answer. Many thanks!
