Proper quantization for an 8th note line to render in notation?
I made a quick-n-dirty recording of all 8th notes and when I import it, I get some triplet figures due to inaccuracy in my original recording. Is there a quantization setting I can employ in musescore to have this render exclusively in 8th notes?

When you import/open the MIDI and you know there are no tuplets in it, disable those.
In the import panel at the bottom of the screen, you'll see a column called
Tuplets
, click on the first (and only in your case) import track/channel line and a popup with a checkbox list comes up. Click twice in theAll
box to clear them all out. Then press the

thanks, i'll try that. What I ended up doing what selecting the midi clip and quantisizing in my daw prior to export which worked. I tried importing into finale but it was a disaster. After quantization, it was very simple in musescore. I had to edit 1 note and 2 staccato markings
