Keyboard shortcut: tempo marking
I've been adding tempo markings to a score using the keyboard shortcut, Alt+Shift+T. It was all going swimmingly until the shortcut stopped working, and instead added this (looks like geographical coordinates):

Your image attachment didn't work. I can only guess you might have already been edit mode when you tried the shortcut? Try hitting Esc first to be sure you aren't. Or maybe you have some other utility running on your system that has redefined that shortcut system-wide.

I don't recognize the symbol, but if you attach the score itself, we may be able to understand and assist better.
