Click the volta
In the inspector (F8) in the section "text line details" check the
End text
checkboxEnter your text in the now available field, change text alignment to right-aligned
If your "Fine" should be recognized after a jump instruction however, don't add it as the end text of the volta; but add a real Fine marker text from the "Repeat & Jumps" palette

Followed your instructions but problem happened as follows:
1. Clicked the volta (1)
2. Clicked END TEXT check-box, text field appeared.
3, Clicked in text field, text field closed and cursor jumped to OFFSET X box.
4. ???

I've seen that happen once or twice as well.
Just check the "End Text" box again

Yea, that worked but now the second volta is ignored. Don't know why but the sequence of events is as follows:
The first volta plays, jumps to Interlude, Interlude plays, jumps to Segno, continues playing, first volta repeats??, jumps to and plays the Interlude then quits.

A volta is supposed to be an alternative ending and a Jump doesn't increase the playback count of a score.
Instead of abusing volta's with a jump this way consider either using a normal repeat (although that still needs a hidden volta trick), or just the standard D.S. al Coda form.

jeetee, let me say I really appreciate your efforts to help and you make sense with your last post. I'm in a quandary though because I'm trying to emulate a published score and it isn't working. That said, I think I'll leave it at that. Once again, thank you.
