Global Change for Chord Play
Dear Musescore,
I just downloaded the latest MuseScore update and now the chord symbols play on every song that I have written. How can I set MuseScore to globally (on every songs) default to not playing the chords unless I set it to play the chord symbols.

Wait for version 3.5.1 to make this possible. In the meantime, check out https://musescore.org/en/faq#faq-308797 for how to disable it for all symbols in a score at once.

Dear Mike,
Thank you for your answer. I already disabled the Chord Play on two scores before I posed my question. I have 50 more score to do it to. I suggest that when a new option like this is made available, the option is NOT the default but only optional.

It will be optional. Be patient and only fix the ones you need to fix at the moment and 3.5.1 will allow you freedom to control it with much fewer restrictions.
