For mp3 you've to install the lame library before, in general see: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/file-formats#audio

just search for online audio converters, they are totally free, I use this one called DumpMedia Video Converter it can not only convert audio but also video files. And it has an online and offline version, you can't convert in batch using online tools, so you can use this one to convert your playlist at once.

Now, 3years later than the post you reacted on, the license limits of mp3 have expired and mp3 export is included in MuseScore by default.

And there is https://musescore.org/it/project/batch-convert
If GarageBand, you’re on a Mac. QuickTime and iTunes can do this without installing the L.A.M.E. Framework.
QuickTime 7.6.6 is free from Apple and installs in your Utilities Folder so as not to conflict with QT 10, part of the OS. For converting one file at a time it’s easier.
Batch conversion of multiple files can be done by many products. My favorite is TwistedWave.
