Curious about possibility of adding effects to score
As we know, musescore does not allow effects like reverb and chorus. If you use the the mixer (F-10) to put reverb/chorus it won't have any effect. However, I have an idea that I was wondering if it would work. I have a DAW that DOES recognize and allow reverb and chorus midi events. Could I export a Musescore score as midi into a DAW, add midi reverb/chorus events, then reimport back into Musescore to have the reverb/chorus events? Or does MS just not even recognize the midi event "signals" for reverb/chorus?

I can't answer your question directly but version 4 is supposed to have a built in DAW so it should recognize these events if it currently doesn't.

Ok, thanks. The big question is will MS only be able to play expression events IN THE DAW or will MS be able to play them?

Good questions. I haven't seen those details discussed. Watch the forums and I'm sure it will be discussed when version gets to the point where testing can start.
