PARTS - TITLES?
When I am preparing parts. (Eg: Flute 1 and Flute 2.)
I find that when I go from the Flute 1 to Flute 2 part,
the part is right but it has the wrong name (Flute 1)
After I correct the Name for Flute 2 and go back to
Flute 1 - it now has the wrong name (Flute 2)
How can I get the names for the parts to stay correct?

This is not what I observe by default, see this test file: Untitled score.mscz
To understand what's going on, could you attach this .mscz score (or simply select say the first 4 measures, then menu File / Save selection)
