Grand Staff Distance Between
How do I bring staves on the grand staff closer together for just selected bars?
To get the result in the picture, beams and rests have been made invisible and the stems have been stretched. Stretching the beams is probably the issue. Is there another way to get the same result without the staffs stretched apart?

I got it figured out.
Need to press '=' to toggle off 'automatic placement for selected items'
