Dynamics and Lines
I have read the documentation and added dynamics and lines to my score and on playback, it does not seem to change the volume. I suppose there is a very simple answer, but I haven't found it yet.

I am referring to the manual as directed below. If I cannot solve the problem, I will send a file. Thanks.
A hairpin only affect playback if there are appropriate dynamics somewhere before and after the hairpin. For example, a crescendo between p and f dynamics will affect playback; but a diminuendo between p and f will be ignored. And if there are two or more crescendos between p and f, all but the first will be ignored.
A hairpin may be used without dynamic marks, by adjusting "Velocity change" in the Inspector (values in the range 0 to 127).

Thanks for directing me to the proper place in the documentation. I will play with these features. If I cannot correct the problem, I will send a file.
