Kbd Shortcuts impossible to set.
It'd be useful for me to set a shortcut to add interval lower note to a note or a chord.
I mean one can already use Alt+3 to add an upper third interval, so I decided to set Alt+Shift+3 (or Alt+£ in my Ita Kbd) to add a third lower interval note,it works fine.
On the contrary I can see it is impossible to set Alt+Shift+7 and Alt+Shift+8 to add a 7th or octave lower interval note respectively, even if these last two shorcuts aren't already assigned to any operation.
I think it is quite a strange trouble, isn't it?

What is Shift+7 and Shift+8 sending normally on your keyboard? It'd be "/" and "(" on mine, a German one.

The same. Shift+7 is "/" and Shift+8 is "(" .
If you have a keybaord where Shift+7 is a key that the system (the Qt libraries we use for UI) expects to be a single key, then it won't be understood properly when combined with other keys. That is in fact the whole reason we disabled Alt+SHift+number some years ago, it just doesn't work on some keyboards.

Got it, Marc. Thanks! On my Ita Kbd I have a single key for "/" (in the keypad) and I can now hit a lower seventh by Alt+(keypad)/. Still I cannot see any single key for "(" else than Shift+8 to type it. Anyway it is not so urgent to have that shortcut set now I know there is a reason why.
