How to drag voices into additional staff line?
Greetings,
My kid is experimenting with MuseScore and his current score is getting messy.
I've tried to figure out how I could add an additional bass staff and move two of the voices from the existing bass staff into the additional one.
I just can't figure out how to do it, as copy and paste doesn't seem to work.
Any help would be appreciated.

You can certain add staves (Edit / Instruments, Add Staff) and you can certainly copy and paste, but neither of those specifically deals with the voice problem. You might also need to use View / Selection Filter to control which voices get copied, and/or Tools / Voices to move content from one voice to another.
It's hard to tell from just a picture - attaching the actual score, or even just a relevant except, would be better. But it looks like there are multiple overlapping voices here that need some straightening out.
That said, if this is meant to reproduce piano music, I think one also needs to question how playable this passage is. I don't know about you, but my hands aren't that big, no do I have as many fingers I think it would take to play this literally :-). When one restricts one's writing to what is actually playable, it ends up being very rare to need a third staff, and one should really strive to avoid it. There are also usually opportunities to simplify use of multiple voices for things the bottom voices, which could have been notated as a single voice with chords as far as I can tell.

Thanks for the instructions. That helped. Now I am able to clean up this score.
Yes, this is not a playable piece of music. My kid is just exploring MuseScore and he also knows this is not playable. But I just want to clean up the score so that at least the voices become visible. This is just a excerpt, but the piece gets progressively messy to the point that one can't even see the notes.
I guess the piece would only be playable on a player piano, if one could make a roll. Which is not bad, as some composers have also composed pieces specifically for player pianos.
Speaking of player pianos, is there a way to produce a piano roll from MuseScore?

There is. You have to right-click on any of the staves of an instrument and select "Piano Roll Editor".
I have only managed to make it work with single staves instead of 2 or more, though. But it seems quite useful.

With the understanding that is indeed not physically playable by one person, then I would agree the extra staff if the way to go. Although FWIW, I'd then go one further - make it two extra staves and think of this as a duet, maybe it would be playable by two players, either on a single piano or on two.
The Piano Roll Editor in MuseScore is not a way to create actual physical piano rolls; it's a way to edit properties of notes using an interface that kind of resembles a piano roll. Creating an actual piano roll requires special equipment to cut the holes obviously. I think there are services that can do this, probably they would start from a MIDI file, and MuseScore can create these via File / Export. A web search should yield more info on piano roll services.
