Rest positions in multi voice scores

This is asked with a naive understanding of the programming involved in Musescore.
When entering scores with multiple voices per stave, could there be a way of having rests moved either up or down, when an additional voice is added.
EG, the rest for voice one moved up a line or two, and the rest for voice two moved down a line or two.
I realize that this would work fine for staves with only 2 voices, it may create more problems than it is worth if 3 or more voices are used.

I do not have any problems with moving the rests manually, this was just a thought.
