Cant Open Temp files
After i saved my score and closed Musescore, the score was saved as a "TEMP-file" with the Name "Title".mscz. Now I can't open this file anymore and only have a copy of the Version before, so work of some ours may be lost.
Is there any chance to open such a file or get the data back any other way?

Can you attach here a score you are having problems with?

I cant attach it, becasue I am not allowed to upload this file type. I already saw the other forum message, but that didnt helped me either.
Try renaming the file to no longer end in ".temp". Actually, best to make a copy and rename that. The temp file is left over from a previous save that somehow got interrupted, and it might not be writable at this point,

The name of the file ends with ".mscz" already, but only the file type is "TEMP". When I look to the details of the file it says the name ends with ".temp", but i cant change it.

There is no such thing as "file type", everything is based on the extension. My guess is you are using Windows, and you never turned off the extremely unfortunate default option where it hides extensions it thinks you don't care about, and it has decided you don't care about the ".temp" that is actually there. First thing I'd do if I were you is do a web search to learn to disable that option, it's a serious problem waiting to happen. But also, simply renaming the file will probably show you the extension. If not, then definitely disable that option.

I know, that there is the ".temp" ending, cause I can see it in the file details, but cant change it. I will try to disable the option that i dont see them regular.

Thank you for your help. I changed the ending to ".mscz" and it opened it like I saved it. If you know where to find the option to show the file ending it's really not that hard.
