Is Musescore still free?
I've been using musescore to help my choir learn their music but new members tell me they can't download for free at all any more. Has something changed, or are they just doing something wrong?

Because the poor composer (copyright holder) can't make a living out of thin air.

Actually, you can download free piano sheet music for free. It is the non-free piano music you cannot download for free.
Whenever I try to print or download a song, it requires me to get a premium subscription, which is not free.

The MuseScore editor ( and the MuseScore.org websites) is free.
It doesn't seem free to me. I can't open it without paying. Lot's of people saying it's a scam

What is it here? What is is you can't open without paying? Sure not the MuseScore editor, nor the musescore.org website, the only thing es topical here.
