Midi note entry
Good morning, I am attempting to use note entry via midi keyboard but it does not work. There is no option in the tool bar to "Toggle Midi Input" as described in the manual. I checked to make sure midi input was enabled in preferences. Am I missing something. Thanks for any help you can provide.

The "Toggle MIDI Input" button is on your toolbar immediately to the right of where it says "Page View" or "Continuous View".
Did you connect and turn on your keyboard before starting MuseScore? What OS? Does the keyboard have a 64-bit driver (or are you using a 32-bit version of MuseScore? Which version of MuseScore? Do you see the keyboard listed as an option in the MIDI Input dropdown in Edit / Preferences / I/O? Is it selected? And how exactly are you trying to enter notes - using the default step-time mode, or one of the "real-time" modes?

Midi input was incorrect. I selected keyboard as output , not input.
