musescore 4 chord symbols don't export in midi files

The chord symbols were not included in a midi file export in Musescore 4. I could have sworn they were included in other exports I've done recently, but I won't because I don't trust my memory. Do I have this wrong? I did a search and found there is no way to turn chord symbols into a notation track in Musescore 4. What can I do? Musescore 3 will not run with my current system. I'm trying to port the piece over to Logic Pro.
