After adding a piano soundfont, everything sounds like a the piano soundfont I added by default.
I realize that someone posted something similar to this.
For example, if I click "i" and go to instruments and select clarinet, it will sound like the "9ft Grand Piano" soundfont I added. I know how to change its sound using the mixer, but I don't want to have to do this every time I add a new instrument. How can I fix this? Thanks.

Make sure to put added soundfont, esp. all non-GM ones, to the end of the list, after a GM soundfont
