All Piano Sounds Sound Like they are Skipping
I've been having this problem the last few times I've worked in musescore, and it seems to be persistent. What is happening is that during playback of chords on the piano, there is a skipping sound a la skipping cd's. From what I can tell it is just pianos, but that includes the regular piano sound, the grand piano sound, the upright, and the honky tonk.
Is this a problem with the latest update or is it just my computer? I've been using musescore for years and only in the last few weeks has this been a problem.
Thanks in advance for any help!

I suppose I should also clarify that this is not a cause of the computer just running slowly - I have a reasonable enough laptop, that has in the past been able to run massive scores with more instruments than really necessary with no problem and this is just a recent development.
Is it possible you are hearing both the notes you entered but also chord symbols you typed in? If so, maybe you just want to disable the latter - click a chord, turn off Play in the Inspector, hit the "S" button to set as style.
If that isn't it, please attach your score so we can understand and assist better.

I don't have any chord symbols, but it is no longer doing it. Would it still be useful to attach the score?

"Would it still be useful to attach the score?"
It's always useful to attach a score, because the score (MSCZ file) contains the exact details of how the score has been notated. Anything unusual in the score will be spotted by the experienced users reading these forums.
