How to shrink bar width
I have a two-bar score (intended as an example in a book) with only a handful of notes in it, but it spreads right across the page and looks ridiculous. How can I shrink the width of measures?
Also, preferably I want the second measure to include only the first note of my example (a minim in a 3/4 bar), not the two quavers on the third beat (see example) and have no bar line at all at the end, but I can't find a way to do this. (Without the quavers, the bars are an acceptable size.)
Are any of these things possible in Musescore 3.6/Mac, and if so, how?
Thank you for any help!

Check "last system fill threshold"

Thank you! Problem solved.
Also, should you want this in a score where it is not the last line - or if you want more control over the width of the system - add a horizontal frame before or after the passage, and adjusts its width to fill as much of the page as you want.
To remove notes & the corresponding beats from a measure, select them and press Ctrl+Delete.
To hide a barline, or anything else, select it and press "V".
