how to make staff specific, purely visual, non functioning time signatures?
So, I need to make a score where there are different time signatures on different staves at certain points
Don't worry, it's "modern" or slightly experimental music, and I'm doing it for a very specific reason. :)
First I thought I'd use the image function and paste them over - but this being modern music and all, I might need to export to SVG for further work in Inkscape, and it would be good to have all of it as vector information (if that is even what it is).
So, is there a way to go about this? Can I make articulations that look like time signatures, for example?
Just to make it clear, I don't need it to play back, this is purely for the dots I need to give the musicians. :-)

Ctrl+T, Ctrl+T?
Then from Inspector I set the font (Select and check with Inspector in the attachment),
increased the size to 14.00 and disabled automatic placement. I don't know if this will help you.

Well, that was easy...! Thanks a bunch! Case closed... ;-)
You can enter different visual, functioning time signatures in different staves. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/time-signatures#local-time-signatur… and https://musescore.org/en/node/254556
Or do your experiments require something more avant garde than this?

No, no, that is very much sufficient! :-) Thanks, that's even better. Weird it didn't show up in my searches, wasn't looking for 'local' I guess.

The Handbook's indexing could certainly be improved. Even though I knew the page was there somewhere it took a few abortive clicks before I found it.

Well, yes, and also it can often be difficult to find info relating to Musescore 3 in the forums, there are many old posts about. Nature of the beast, I guess.
