Bug report: Clef changed automatically when instrument name is changed
Hi. Here's what I think it's a bug.
In a score with a Clavicembalo (and a voice), during the setup I deleted the g staff of the cembalo to obtain only the bass one, as I wanted a Basso continuo. Then I wrote the score and at the end I realised that I hadn't changed the name of the instrument to Basso continuo, as it was still Clavicembalo.
So I went into the part properties and changed the name of the part, the extended name of the instrument and the shorten one. But when I applied the changes, the bass clef was changed into a g clef automatically.
Cheers
Ivan

Hi, Ivan,
Yes, I see that in the situation you describe (a grand staff instrument, such as piano, with the G clef staff deleted) changing the Long Instrument Name or Short Instrument name can cause a change in the clef to G. I would not have expected that to happen.

Or next time don't start with a grand staff. Especially if your going to modify it and rename it. Perhaps start with just a bass staff. Give it the sound and name you want.

If you're doing something and your elbow hurts when you do it, don't do it. :D
