Tremolo + hairpin with added dynamic (single note dynamic problem)
Not sure if this was mentioned a long time ago, but last time I checked for example:
- Whole note tremolo:
- Set pp then a < hairpin, then a ff attached to the hairpin (not attached to another segment)
- Result: non-dynamic playback.
If the second dynamic is on its own segment, it works though. Attached is a file demonstrating both situations and a picture:

Nevertheless it is possible to make single-note dynamics work within one measure. I find it helpful to create hidden rests in Voice 2, so that each dynamic and hairpin can have its own anchor points.

Right. I think this could dwell finely within the category of the second dynamic as being upon its own separated segment as compared with an initial dynamic. The former case rather seems to be a coding oversight needing rectification.
