Unlike regular beams, the user cannot manually adjust the placement of between-note tremolo beams through handles, as is possible with beams of eighth and 16th notes.
The same user interface could also be used for tremolos to adjust height (middle handle) and the two end points.

Good point! They aren't actually true beams, but that doesn't mean we couldn't provide a similar UI. meanwhile, in case it isn't obvious: edit them stems, the tremolo with follow.

Ah, great, thanks for the hint about the stems. However, then my stems will have inconsistent length, won't they?
No getting around the laws of physics on that :-). The default tremolo strokes are already correct for standard length stems. If you want non-standard tremolo stroke angle or position position, you’ll need non-standard stem length to go with it, otherwise your tremolo strokes won’t line up.
